Relatives and thrush

As you my dear readers are aware, two members of my family, my Aunt Lynne and my grandma, are battling breast cancer right now. I try not to invade their medical privacy too often by blogging about it, but today we need some prayers. My aunt was due to undergo her 4th of 6 rounds of chemo yesterday, but she has caught a nasty cold/flu bug and has had to have this round postponed. She is holding up well, in good spirits and all, but she's feeling miserable and needs some prayers. Pray that she gets well soon and regains her strength quickly.
My grandma had post operative complications that resulted in a low hemoglobin. Please pray that she regains her iron stores quickly and feels better soon. She has been dizzy and lightheaded, and very tired.
And of course, support breast cancer research in every way you can.

Riley and I have thrush. [sigh].
It's not breast cancer, but it sure is irritating.
The treatment includes this purple medication called Gentian Violet which makes Riley look like this:

And my breasts look...well...I'm not posting a picture of those. You'll have to use your imagination!!
We have to use the Gentian Violet for 4 to 7 days and it takes several days to wash off, so in the meantime Riley looks like he got intimate with a purple felt pen. Everywhere I go people comment on it.
It's painful. If his mouth feels anything like my breasts, I don't blame the guy for being a little cranky!
