Positive Boosts Needed

Feeling rather bummed out.  Wrestling with some old demons.  Any positive boosts appreciated! ♥

Shootskies. I may be your only heathen friend, so you might have to wait until after church time to get boosts from others... :)

I don't know what you're dealing with, but I can imagine, and I know it sucks.

You are someone I really look up to in a lot of ways.

1. You are an incredible mama to an incredible bunch of kiddos.

2. You are an authentic parent, open and honest about your struggles, which does so much good to so many other people.

3. You are an amazing birth advocate. I can only imagine how many women you have inspired, encouraged and helped along their birth journeys.

4. I don't know this first-hand, but I'm pretty sure you are a great wife, which is why your handsome hubby seems to keep wanting to reproduce with you, over and over. :)

5. You are making great strides for women in the area of mental health. When I think back to your post about parenting with a mental illness, I think of all the women who came out of hiding to say they can related. You did that. You made it okay for women to step up and admit that they aren't perfect, that they need help, and that we can help ourselves and each other.

6. You are basically just, in general, a very positive and awesome woman.

You are loved. You are whole. You are perfect just how you are. You are a friend, a wife, a lover, a mother, an advocate, a writer, an artist, and a daughter of the Almighty. Not a shabby list of things you are.

Ditto all the above. Tell those demons to get on out of here, and see what they're saying for the lies they are.

Mel, you have been such an inspiration to ME (especially in anything and everything mothering/ birthing/ breast-feeding!) Thank you for the lovely words of encouragement, advice, and peace you continually supplied for me throughout my pregnancy with Jonah, afterward, and as I struck up my journey toward doula-ness. You are, truly, the bomb.

You are talented, thoughtful, giving of your time, genuine, beautiful, gracious, and are strong in the Lord - hold fast, hold fast to that truth.

SO much love from WI! xo

Dang it...I wrote a long comment on here yesterday and it was all lost. I'll write more soon, but I sure am thinking of you.

Thank you, lovelies. I'm wrestling hard, but often my mind is besting me this week. It hurts, it hurts...
